This Blockchain Principles module focuses on the acquisition of a fundamental understanding of the functional principles of Blockchain and the organisational change that Blockchain introduces in society, economy and business. The kick-off session consists of a non-technical functional, management and innovation-oriented introduction to the Blockchain topic. In the current proposition, the technical part of a Blockchain implementation is left to the self-study capacity of the students. (As The Blockchain Academy® is working on the addition of Blockchain programming courses to its curriculum, future iterations of this syllabus could also include technical and programming support for the students).
